Shot taken in Tokyo, at the gardens in front of the National Museum. A morning at the park of the national museum. A path that from the cafeteria follows the central axis of the gardens in a straight line to reach the road that separates the museum from the park, with the characteristic sound of the Japanese traffic light. People walking in haste, some for work, some for relaxation. The sound of groups playing traditional music that can be heard from afar. Return to the road through the presence of cars.

I am an electroacoustic composer who has been dealing with soundscape for years collecting field recordings around the world and working in projects like VacuaMœnia to study abandoned soundscape in Sicily.
The aim of my research is exploring the condition of silence through what I call “transversal listening”, listening for listening sake overcoming the limit of the body and specifically of the ears deceiving the time: the body is the result of a wave interference between phenomenology and psychology.
In this website I will share with you the paths I have traveled to reach this condition through physical exploration (sound excursion militancy), technology and sound works.
