These incredible recordings of buddhist nuns prayers were made at the Tek Chok Ling nunnery in Nepal's capital city, Kathmandu. They represent their daily ritual. The soundscape is a spiritual journey, filled with harmony and cohesion, inner peace and a source of wisdom. The mood of the recordings is deeply connected with the human's mind need to take a break once a while from the hustle and bustle of daily life and western consumerism. This incredible sound journey allows mi to reach back to the world where people cherish life the most. Pray, as a daily ritual, makes it so every day is greeted with joy and respect. These recordings made me realise that what matters most is the present and the key to a healthy life is to nor mourn the past and not worrying about the future. Both Kathamndu's and the Tek Chok Ling nunnery soundscape is truly spectacular and breathtaking as it invigorates and helps find peace of mind, which we so often lose in the everyday life.
"Each Morning of the World" is an unusual project, which carries your mind away while sipping coffee at your own dwelling. I'm honoured to have the chance to share with you this experience and hope that this soundscape will be a source of inspiration for many of you.
